GhostFink Is Making Huggably-Soft Trover Merch
Hey there Squanchies!
Long time no blog
We just had to come back for this one. You might have noticed GhostFink from her WOW SUPER COOL Trover art that she supplies to our social media sometimes. You know, like this thing right here.

We weren’t kidding about the super cool-ness of it.
GhostFink gave us a holla and told us all about some Trover merch she’s making herself. So we wanted to interview her and get her honestly-pretty-ridic Trover stuff in front of more eyes and talk to her about her art, her Trover faves, and more.

What was the lightbulb moment that got you making Trover creations?
I'm so glad you asked! Trover is a very special game to me. Around the same time it came out, I was going through a very rough patch in life. But Trover and his game helped me learn to laugh again. Not too long afterwards, I started exploring different artsy hobbies to occupy myself; I wanted to get back into plushies as soon as I realized I could make some huggable Trovers to keep me company!
Which Trover characters do you tend to gravitate to? Why?
Trover is without a doubt my favorite. He's adorable, squishy and fun! Can he be my best bud? Gail is also hilarious.
What kind of other plushies have you made?
Before the Trover Loafs, I would occasionally make little critters of my own design. It's something I've always enjoyed; that's how I knew I was destined to make these loafs!

Are they as huggably soft as Trover?
Is anything truly as huggable as Trover himself?!
What's your favorite joke from the game?
Don't make me choose! The constant banter between Trover and Gail is super fun, as well as Gail's "boss battle." Those are some of the funniest moments in the game. I also love Voodoo person's antics, and all the silly things Trover says when you put him under a waterfall or find him a green Power Baby.
You're stranded on an island with all the Trover characters, Trover included. Someone must be thrown in the volcano to appease the volcano gods. Who do you bet all your money on to go in the volcano? This is a binding question so please have your credit card ready.
Michael goes in head first, no questions asked. Easy.

What kind of art inspired you to become an artist? Was there any work in particular?
Actually, that's tough to recall! I feel like I knew what I wanted to do as soon as I was born. But I suppose 90s cartoons (Chowder, Flapjack, ect.) helped steer me in the right direction as well.
Where can people find your plushes and art and all other good things you?
You can find most of my shenanigans at @Ghostfink on instagram! Thanks so much!
