To celebrate the recent launch of Trover Saves the Universe on Quest, we thought now would be a GREAT time to share some of the Squanch team’s favorite player reviews from the last year.

Overall, the feedback has been amazing, and we LOVE reading these - so please keep them coming! Otherwise, here are a few that really stood out to us, many of which had us in stitches…

“I can't stop laughing!

“With all the turmoil that's currently going on this is such a refreshing and humorous game. I've been a longtime fan of Rick and Morty, accounting plus and this game far exceeds what I was expecting for humor. It's much more than a game, it's a Non-Stop comedy show. You control trover with his walking jumping and sword slashing. I've been playing it for 2 hours, only because I don't wish to rush through the game. I find myself sitting there and listening to the dialogue from trover. I am definitely glad I bought this since I was starting to get into a deep state of depression. This game snapped me right out of it.”

“Best game on the quest

“Always been a huge Rick and Morty fan. Love the show and even have collectibles from it. Been waiting for this game to come out on quest and was excited when i saw it. Bought it immediately. As of right now, it is easily the best game on quest. It’s by far the longest story game on the quest. Giving you hours of gameplay and even comes with free DLC for even more hours of fun. Definitely a must by, especially for a Rick and Morty fan!”

“Funniest VR Game on the Quest

“After watching the trailer I knew that this game was a must, and I boy was that an understatement. There aren’t that many Funny Quest games so there wasn’t a bunch of tough competition but by far this is the best puzzle game in my opinion and obviously the funniest VR game I have played ever. You will not regret buying this, and if you want a more appropriate approach so Younger audiences can play, there is a censored mode in game. Pls take my word for it, this game is interactive, fun, hilarious, and a must have!!!”

“Fun! Fun! Fun!

“I am a Rick & Morty fan-boy so my opinion might be biased but this has got to be one of the most hilarious games I have ever played! Its a great platformer and what they did with the added VR experience is innovative and captivating. I love this game! I don't write reviews, ever, but this one deserves it. The only people I wouldn't recommend this game to are those who don't like or understand crude and vulgar humor. You guys aren't fun and don't deserve this gem and should play something more boring to match your personality. Also, don't let your kids play this, its not for them. There is a censor option but I still wouldn't let my kids touch it.”

One cannot just play it once, for there is so much dialogue that can be missed the first time through. It's essentially Justin Roiland talking to himself for hours on end, which calls for talent. “Hello Rick and Morty...I mean...Trover...if you are a couch person like me you will love the gameplay and have tons of fun in this crazy and unique experience. Lots of dialogues and a history that will keep you laughing till the very end. I love this. Trover should get his own TV Show. Totally recommend this game if you like Rick and Morty! “I laughed so much at Trover's variety and quality of humor. The main draw is obviously the effort of Justin Roiland who is a very funny guy and he doesn't disappoint. However, its clear that every person involved in this game put a proud(and some not so proud, but amazing 😂) effort into it. For not being the focus of this game, the action/platforming are pretty good and puzzles were surprisingly well integrated and never too aggravating.

tl;dr: 10/10 adventure game that has had charisma and comedy poured into it by many talented people.”
